Dr Mohammed Sultan is the owner and practice principal of the clinic, and prides himself on the professional, passionate team he has under his wings.
Mohammed was born in Durban, South Africa, where he qualified as a Medical Practitioner with a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (MBChB) at the University of Natal in 1986. He migrated to Australia in 1998 and obtained his Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and is registered with APHRA as a Specialist General Practitioner.
He has been a Medical Practitioner for over 30 years and has been a General Practitioner in Gatton for the past 18 years now. Mohammed consults in all areas of General Practice but has a special interest in all Chronic Disease especially Diabetes, Travel Medicine, Men’s Health and Skin Cancers.
Mohammed also performs anti-wrinkle treatment at his clinics. Treatments include upper face injections for frown lines and crows feet; performed hygienically in the privacy of his clinic.
He is also an accredited mentor and supervisor to GP Registrars.

Dr Richardy Hostiadi was born in Indonesia and migrated to Australia in 1997.
He initially trained as Registered Nurse before he switched to study Medicine at the University of Queensland Medical School where he graduated as a Doctor in 2013.
Richard worked at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, in several disciplines including cardiology, chronic pain, rehabilitation, paediatric surgery, and obstetrics.
Richard obtained his Fellowship in General Practice (FRACGP) in December 2017.
His special interests are Cardiology and Chronic Disease management. He now does Acupuncture and Prolotherapy to assist with pain management.
Richard is also passionate about sport in general and has completed 2 Marathons, a half Marathon, a Tough Mudder, a 14 km Spartan Race, and this year will compete in the Spartan Race at the Suncorp Stadium.
He joined the Clinic in 2016, and before long became a very integral part of our team.

Dr. Melissa Tomba was with us in 2014 and has returned to the Family Health Clinic after some time off on maternity leave.
Melissa grew up in the Killarney district and after achieving degrees in Pharmacy and then Medicine she worked and her gained experience at Ipswich and St. Andrews Hospitals.
Her previous general practice experience has been at Warwick, Boonah and Gatton.
Melissa will cover the full range of General Practice presentations and will be working on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and some Saturday’s at the clinic. She has a special interst in Women's and Child Health.

Dr Joseph Chua qualified at the University of Adelaide in 2013, and worked at several hospitals before deciding to fulfill his passion for becoming a GP.
Born in Singapore, Joe is also fluent in Mandarin. Joe enjoys the outdoors, is a keen hiker and plays soccer.
Joe joined us in 2018 and is now working part time at the Clinic in 2019.

Dr Archana Bhandarker joined us in February in 2019 and will be available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays at the clinic.
Archana will consult in all areas of general medicine with a special interest in preventive health,chronic disease and women's health. Dr Archana also holds diploma in child health.
Having worked at Hervey Bay and Caboolture hospital's, she then gained experience in general practice at Kilcoy and Bribie Island.
A busy mum, Dr Archana brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Family Health Clinic.

Dr Monsur Kazi received his MBBS from Rajshahi Medical College, Bangladesh and followed on with a PhD from Karolinska Institute, Sweden.
He was appointed as a post doctoral fellow at the School of Medicine, at James Cook University in Townsville.
During his post doctoral fellowship period he grew to take an interest in clinical medicine, and started his clinical career as an intern in 2009 at
the Townsville Hospital. Thereafter, he worked as a medical registrar in multiple hospitals including the Townsville Hospital, the Canberra Hospital and the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Dr Monsur‘s passion for chronic diseases drew him to pursue a career as a GP, however, he loves to spend his free time with his family.

Our Staff Team
Our Practice Manger, Ellisha Freeman has been with us for the past 7 years. Ellisha initially joined the Clinic on a very part time capacity whilst raising a young family, and very soon moved along to a more full time role.
Her caring, energetic and compassionate nature with the knowledge of and commitment to the business of General Practice saw her move into the role of Practice Manger as soon as the position became available.
Ellisha was nominated and won the LVRC 2018 Employee of the year in the Professional Services category and also won Overall Employee of the Year for 2018.
