Scrambled Legs Walking Group
With the Covid-19 changes, Scrambled legs walking group activities have been suspended until further notice.
We're excited about our initiative at Family Health Clinic Gatton - Scrambled Legs, our new walking group to get us all active.
For years we've encouraged patients to get out and get active; and we all know how hard that is to actually do it on your own.
Our team have decided to lead by example and get this new initiative off the ground. We all need that little bit of a nudge and encouragement to get going and we've done just that.
Any fitness level is welcome and you may walk along at your own pace, with the confidence of knowing there's someone around with you at all times.
Come along, have fun, get active, feel good, lose some weight if needed, improve blood pressure, Diabetes and Cholesterol control.
And some of us may just need some social interaction.
And you don't have to be a patient at our Clinic to participate.
So join us every Monday at 5:30 and Wednesday evening 5:15 pm, at the clinic car park in Wiggins Street, Gatton.
If you have a smart phone there are apps you may use to track your progress over the weeks - time, distance, calories and see how you improve.
Apps like Runkeeper works well on iPhone and Android.
