Dr.Mohammed I Sultan
(Practice Principal)

Dr Mohammed I Sultan is the owner and practice principal of the clinic, and prides himself on the professional, passionate team he has under his wings.
Mohammed was born in Durban, South Africa, where he qualified as a Medical Practitioner with a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (MBChB) at the University of Natal in 1986. He migrated to Australia in 1998 and obtained his Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and is registered with APHRA as a Specialist General Practitioner. He has been a Medical Practitioner for over 30 years and has been a General Practitioner in Gatton for the past 23 years now. Mohammed consults in all areas of General Practice with a special interest in all Chronic Disease care especially Diabetes, Hypertension, Travel Medicine, Men’s Health and Skin Cancers. He is also an accredited mentor and supervisor to GP Registrars. Mohammed is committed to training the next generation of Specialist General Practitioners and has been recognised with an Award by the GP Supervisor Association in 2019. Dr.Kaycee Ching Koek

Dr Kaycee Ching Koek Dr Kaycee is originally from Singapore, and relocated to Australia in 2015 to pursue her medical education at the University of Queensland. Her interests include preventative health and serving underrepresented communities. She has a keen interest in Paediatrics (Child Health). She passionately engages in mentorship through the STEM mentorship program. In her leisure time, Kaycee enjoys the company of her pets and doing long-distance running. |
Dr.Gaurav Ramayya

Dr Gaurav Ramayya joined the clinic team in January 2022.
Originally from Scotland, Gaurav completed his medical degree at The University of Edinburgh in 2012. He worked in the UK for two years, with terms in adult medicine, paediatrics, and general practice, before making the move over to Australia in 2014. He has since gained years of experience in emergency medicine in several departments in Queensland, most recently spending two years at St Andrew’s Ipswich. For the last year, Gaurav has worked in hospital medicine at Ipswich General Hospital, including a subspecialty term as a respiratory registrar. Gaurav is interested in all aspects of family medicine and looks forward to continuing his development as a general practice registrar. Outside of work, Gaurav enjoys spending time at home with his animals. He loves to cook, watch any and all sport, and if he gets the time will be very happy out on the golf course. Dr Gaurav graduated with the Fellowship in General Practice in 2024. |
Dr.Badrul Alam

Dr Badrul Alam joined our Clinic in October 2020, an consults Monday to Thursday and on some Fridays & Saturdays.
Badrul graduated with the Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery, from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, 1987; and obtained the AMC Certificate, Australian Medical Council, Australia, in 2013. He also speaks Bangla and Bengali. Badrul has spent several years at Logan Hospital, then joined the After Hours Doctors service, before choosing to venture into General Practice. Dr.Asgar Hossain

Dr.Asgar Hossain
Dr Asgar started working in Australia in 2004, initially at the Gold Coast Hospital and then at the Logan Hospital before commencing in General Practice in 2014. He gained experience in a wide variety of specialities while working in the hospitals. Asgar joined the Family Health Clinic as a full-time GP in July 2022. Asgar treats a wide range of medical conditions including general consultation, chronic disease management, annual health checks, immunisation, child health and mental health. As a GP he takes time to listen to patients and to consider their personal situation when providing care for them. |

Dr Sandy Soliman
Dr Sandy graduated from the University of Alexandria, Egypt. After completing several clinical placements in Cleveland Clinic, USA, Box Hill and St John of God Hospitals she relocated to Australia. In Australia, Sandy has worked for more than two years in hospitals on the Sunshine Coast and Ipswich, across different departments. She has a special interest in Chronic Disease and Paediatric Medicine, although she enjoys all aspects of Medicine. Outside work, she enjoys long walks on the beach and spending time with her family. |

Dr. Rana Firdouse Quadri
Dr Rana is originally from India has lived in Australia since 2011. She has worked in the Central Qld in General Medicine, General Surgery, Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics as well as Gladstone Aboriginal and Islander Community Health Service. Dr Rana speaks Hindi, Urdu, Arabic and Telugu. She enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with her family. |
Dr.Sania Khalid

Dr. Sania Khalid
Dr Sania graduated from medical school in Pakistan. She has worked at various hospitals in Queensland, including Greenslopes Private Hospital, QEII Jubilee Hospital, Canossa Private Hospital and Qld Children’s Hospital. She has a special interest in Family Medicine, Geriatrics and Women’s Health. Dr Sania speaks Hindi and Urdu. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new travel destinations. |
We have been involved in training and supervising many Doctors over the years, who have successfully obtained their Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, whilst under our supervision and mentor-ship. They have become Specialist GP's. Congratulations to them and we wish them well in their future endeavours.
Unfortunately due to Medicare rules and restrictions regarding provider numbers most of these Doctors cannot remain and continue to work in Gatton. The Department of Health which controls provider numbers of Doctors, believes we have have adequate number of Doctors in Gatton and we are not rural enough to support our requests for additional Doctors unfortunately!! The access to the Medicare provider number allows Doctors to Bill through Medicare, and so restricts where doctors can work.
